I admit, I still like short skirts from time to time but as I'm getting older, more so with tights. However, I am a sucker for all dresses midi! Remember, a few weeks ago I showed you the Off the Shoulder Soprano Dress from Nordstrom? Well, after browsing all the Soprano options again at Nordstrom's, I fell in love with the color of this Minty Midi.

I decided the pattern of it would be darling for Fall with boots and cardigans. I transitioned this look with my favorite beach cardigan from the Gap. I think it's going to be perfect as the mornings and nights are cooler.

These botties are several years old but the cognac color was spot on with the side tassel on the little purse from Target and accented the center of the flowers.

This Dress comes in 3 colors but the Minty floral was definitely my favorite!

Adore this Bright Midi and this Flouncy OTS One
I want this Jacket to go with it too!! Under $30!

Easy and bursting with flavor is exactly what I need after a long day at work. This to skillet supper is a sure winner! I have made this marinade for with mushrooms and just sautéed them up as a side but I decided to add potatoes and chicken sausage to the mix to make a complete meal and it is absolutely delicious!

This does not take very many ingredients and I have found the chicken sausage to be so flavorful yet low-cal and low-fat and usually it's already cooked so basically all you have to do is heat it  up and brown it a little.

1 pkg. chicken sausage (I used Asiago Garlic)
4-5 medium potatoes, cut into small chunks
1 pkg. white button mushrooms, cut in halves
3/4 cup olive oil + 2 Tbsp.
1/4 cup dark Balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
1 tsp each sea salt and pepper

In a medium bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup oil, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, salt and pepper, toss in mushrooms to coat and set aside. In a small skillet, cook chicken sausages til done and set aside to cool. In a large skillet, add 2 Tbsp olive oil and heat to medium/high heat, then add potatoes and cook til tender on the inside, crisp on the outside. Slice the chicken sausage and add to potato skillet and keep in low. In the pan you cooked the sausage in, add the mushrooms and 1/3 cup of the marinade and sauté until done and sauce has started to evaporate; pour entire skillet into potato mixture and toss. Enjoy!

I Sure Hope you'll head over to The Blended Blog today and Link-Up a yummy recipe.

You've heard me talk about my dear friend Tami before, who I referred to as "T" and she is who inspired this post.
This adorable lacy dress with the necklace that matches perfectly, were gifts from my sweet "T"!

I was so excited to have the peep toe booties to go with, and I love the jean jacket with it and will probably wear an olive color cardigan over it to work.

She got this adorable ensemble at Sears. I always forget to go in Sears and remember years ago getting very cute clothes there. You'd be surprised at what fun things you can find there besides tools and appliances.

I have oodles of acquaintances but not many close friends so in addition to the closeness I share with my mom, husband, sons and blogger pals, Tami has been my tried-and-true for the past 15 years! I swear, we could have our own talk show, and we, along with people who know us, compare us to Hoda and Kathie Lee. If we set up the camera during our workdays and conversations, we'd have you rolling in laughter like we do! We call ourselves "T and A" and OK, while it references something else, get your mind out of the gutter. It stands for Tami and Andrea, LOL!

Our Birthday Day party 2007...T said "Wow, we've aged well!" We have!

We try our best to spread happiness and support each other in every aspect of life! My favorite quality about Tami, although she has so many wonderful ones, it's her ability to listen! She is the best listener I know and I don't think I could do this life without her! As you get older, you realize it's not about the number of friends you have but the quality. What I try to be the most in a friend is true, giving and loyal; if those aspects are not there then why be friends with that person? Life is too short for drama, pettiness and backstabbing. I'm lucky that I am a strong enough person now to choose who I want to spend my time with, and I'm lucky to call Tami my partner in crime.

Cheers to your week ahead sweet friends!!

I have always admired the sleek style of one of our most famous fashion icons and actresses, Audrey Hepburn! While I know I do not look like her and this was by no means a re-creation, with the big chunky white pearls and my signature high bun, I kind of felt like her.

I cannot believe this dress from Target has set in my closet for months. I saw it on my sweet friend Kellyann who so sweetly paired a hot pink cardigan with it and knew I had to find a way to style this cute dress hanging on a hanger, begging to be worn.

The back is just darling with a bow tie and small opening. Now, after seeing these pictures, I realized I do not like the chambray lace up sandals with it and wish I had gone for an open toed peep pump or pointy toed pumps but with all the blues in the gingham pattern, I suppose it kind of works.
